Herbert Douglass Memorial Library
The Weimar Institute Library exists to support the mission of the Institute: to develop leaders in comprehensive health evangelism. Toward this end the Library provides resources for research, assistance with research, and a space for quiet study and reflection.
The Weimar Institute Library is the first building on the left upon entering the campus gate. The main entrance can be accessed from the road between the Library and the Weimar Inn on the south side of the building.
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 8:30am to 8:30pm. Wednesday from 8:30am to 6:00pm. Friday from 8:30am to 1:30pm.Closed daily for lunch from 1:30-2:30pm.
The library houses approximately 16,700 volumes on the upper level of the library. Most of these books are available for checkout for students. Reference books and select nursing books can only be accessed in the library.

The lower level of the library contains over 3,500 books. The study center is designed primarily to preserve books of historical significance to Seventh-day Adventists including the writings of Ellen G. White, writings put out by the White Estate, the Heritage Book Collection with some books dating back to the late 1700s , and the Medo-Persian/Islam Seventh-day Adventist Missionary Exhibit. The EGW Study Center is open 2PM-8PM Sunday – Thursday and by appointment.
