Health Evangelism Leadership Program

Why Weimar College?

  • Cross train in health evangelism in collaboration with the NEWSTART® Lifestyle Program.
  • Study in the beautiful foothills of Northern California, an ideal location to spend time with God in nature.

Who is H.E.L.P. best suited for?

  • Graduates of intensive evangelism training programs.
  • Licensed health professionals (Massage Therapists, MD, RN, PT etc) who want to incorporate health evangelism into their day-to-day practices.
  • Individuals who want to become health evangelism leaders in their churches and communities.

What is the Program Like?

Our NEWSTART Global plan to reunite the health work with gospel ministry is anchored by H.E.L.P., an advanced program for training health evangelism leaders. The typical medical missionary program has been re-tooled, re-focused and re-centered around the NEWSTART Global paradigm. In addition to the standard training that is expected in a comprehensive program, H.E.L.P. participants are trained as leaders, proficient in the latest tools and techniques in health outreach. The capstone of H.E.L.P. training is the practical application component. We believe that learning happens best with real-world practical application.

H.E.L.P. Will Enable You To:

  • Lead one-time and on-going events that build a local church’s capacity for community health leadership.
  • Effectively maximize the number of health outreach interests that become actual Bible studies and/or evangelistic meeting attendees.
  • Use all available health outreach tools and resources with maximum impact.
  • Plan and launch health-focused motivational/inspirational weekends.
  • Lead teams that plan and launch effective health evangelistic events in the local community.
  • Direct a CHIP program.
  • Direct a Depression Recovery program.
  • Hold a cooking school.
  • Run a Reversing Diabetes seminar.
  • Design and implement a natural remedies seminar.

Topics of Study Include:

  • C.H.I.P. training
  • Depression Recovery training
  • Training for the soon-to-be-released NEWSTART 4D Program
  • Hydrotherapy and massage therapy
  • Leading a vegan cooking school

Here Are Some Things You Will Do During Your Training:

  • Plan and lead public health outreach campaigns.
  • Facilitate public health seminars.
  • Be actively involved in health evangelism activities including community health events, local mission trips, and personal health ministry in the community as well as in the NEWSTART lifestyle program.
  • Work with ministers, doctors and other health professionals to gain skills and experience in ministering to people.

Program Dates & Registration

Pre-Registration opens in January, 2012 and the first training session is tentatively scheduled to begin August 6, 2012.

About Weimar College

Weimar College exists to help our students gain a knowledge of God. This is the foundation of all true education and service. It is the only thing that can make us like God in character.* We have synthesized our understanding of the principles of true education into what we call “The Core of Four.”

Excellent Academics

Our purpose is to give you a thorough preparation that will enable you to render a life of excellent service to God.

Evangelistic Emphasis

It will take an army to finish all the work that needs to be done before Jesus can return. We are helping to train that army, and training begins now.

Health Education

We firmly believe that health is the entering wedge of the gospel, so we have made health evangelism a major component of our programs.

Practical Training

Relevance isn’t taught in a book. The most important things you will learn at Weimar will not be taught in a classroom. They will be experienced in real-world ministry.
