Director – Don Mackintosh BSN, MDiv
Don Mackintosh has a rich history in ministry having worked as a Registered Nurse, a lay Bible worker, a pastor/evangelist, then for five years as the Director of an Evangelism school. For years he has hosted a popular show on 3ABN “Health for a Lifetime” dealing with health issues. Author of the “What’s the Connection?” DVD series, he also developed a new series of studies on Daniel and Revelation, as well as a Gospel Workers training course. He is married and has 4 young children.
Medical Consultant – David DeRose, MD
Dr. David DeRose is a physician holding board certifications in both Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine. He has a Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH) with an emphasis in Health Promotion and Health Education. A published researcher, he has lectured widely, presenting complex health topics to the public in an understandable way. Dr. DeRose teaches at Weimar College and practices at the NEWSTART® Medical Clinic.
Registrar & Secretary – Sherry Polk
Sherry Polk has a strong background in education, including serving as principal and girls’ dean at Weimar Academy, registrar & secretary at Amazing Facts Center of Evangelism, and administrator at Country Haven Academy. She has a heart for reaching young people, a passion for missions, and extensive experience in practical education.
Melinda Bernard, RDH, BS
Melinda Bernard has worked as a clinician in private dental practices for 8 years. She is passionate about helping people gain a knowledge of oral health and health in general, and enjoys the patient clinician interaction that allows for opportunities to share Jesus.
Daniel Binus, MD
Dr. Daniel Binus, clinical director of Beautiful Minds Medical, is board certified in psychiatry. His focus is incorporating lifestyle principles to help people correct the underlying causes of their mental illness.
Randy Bivens, MD
Dr. Randy Bivens is a board certified diagnostic radiologist who is passionate about lifestyle education. He has conducted stop smoking programs for thousands of people and has led out in lifestyle live-in programs as well as ongoing church-based lifestyle programs.
Steven Chang, DDS
Dr. Steven Chang currently practices in Monterey, California. He is a dental consultant for Holland America Cruise line and a board member of ASAP and ARME. His passion is for humanitarian missions where he teaches dentistry, nutrition, health, and Bible truths.
John Chung, MD
Dr. John Chung is a dermatologist in Dalton, Georgia specializing in Mohs surgery. Dr. Chung is dedicated to medical evangelism; he frequently visits his patients in their homes for Bible studies and to pray with them.

Jonathan Freed, MD
Dr. Jonathan Freed is a board certified plastic surgeon. Former chief of plastic surgery at Kaiser Permanente in Portland, Oregon, and clinical instructor at Oregon Health Sciences University, he now has a private practice in Auburn, California. Dr. Freed is active in community service and overseas mission, having performed plastic surgery mission work in both India and Africa

Evelyn Kissinger is a lifestyle consultant, registered dietitian, lactation consultant, and teacher who has conducted numerous Coronary Health Improvement Programs (CHIP) and health education seminars. Dr. Philip Mills is dual board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as dermatology. He practices dermatology in Dalton, Georgia and Grants Pass, Oregon.
Neil Nedley, MD
Neil Nedley, MD, is a full-time practicing physician in internal medicine with emphasis in preventive medicine, gastroenterology, and the difficult-to-diagnose patient. Dr. Nedley is the president of Weimar Center of Health and Education. Author of Proof Positive, Depression: The Way Out, and The Lost Art of Thinking, he has provided continuing medical education courses and health education seminars to physicians and health professionals around the world.

Susan Pellandini is a certified massage therapist, the director of the Massage Therapy program at Weimar College, and a guest lecturer at community health outreach events where she teaches others the ministry of bringing people to Christ through simple natural remedies.
Brian Schwartz, MD
Dr. Brian Schwartz is a board certified interventional cardiologist currently practicing in Centerville and Kettering, Ohio. He is the editor of The Medical Evangelist, and his association with AMEN (Adventist Medical Evangelism Network) has helped his integration of Christian spirituality into his practice to become more intentional.
Lyndi Schwartz, MD
Dr. Lyndi Schwartz is an internal medicine physician practicing in Kettering, Ohio. She is an active speaker and writer for Adventist publications and has taught a vibrant adult Sabbath school class for the past 15 years.
John Torquato, MD

Gary Gibbs, Ministries Development Director for the Chesapeake Conference, hosts the Prophecies of Hope, the Bible Talk radio program, and has extensive experience in ministry as a pastor, evangelist, church growth consultant, and founder of three evangelism training centers. His passion is to see people give their lives unreservedly to Jesus and for them to experience the abundant life that He gives.

Dr. Ted Wilson, president of the Seventh-day Adventist world church, is an ordained minister and holds a doctoral degree in religious education.
