DESCRIPTION:Each semester\, Weimar Institute takes a long weekend for Rest & Relaxation. This is a special time when students and staff break away from the daily routine of academic life to seek a closer connection with God in nature. \nThese weekends often include the beauty of the California Coast or the majestic wonder of redwoods and waterfalls. Whether the location is Monterey Bay Academy or Yosemite National Park\, Giant Sequoia and Redwood forests or Camp Wawona in Yosemite National Park\, the change of pace is refreshing for the mind\, body\, and soul. \nHistorically\, the Yosemite R & R’s have been provided in cooperation with the Volunteer In Parks Program. This arrangement has given us opportunity to enjoy the awesome grandeur of Yosemite while giving back to the park through special work projects. \nCamping\, hiking\, sharing\, singing\, worships and so much more await you on each R & R weekend.
