Adjunct in General Education This is my first year as a full time faculty member in the Christian Education Department at Weimar University. I began my teaching journey as an eight grade teacher at Pacific Union College elementary school in 2002, and have been a teaching enthusiast ever since. God has blessed me with a wide variety of challenges and opportunities in education. I have taught in private, public and home school environments and have taught in every grade level from preschool to classes at the university level. I can honestly say I have enjoyed it all and feel that it has been a great privilege to develop so many meaningful relationships during my teaching career. Working with aspiring teachers is my current challenge and I’m excited to see how God leads me as I work to assist young teachers to grow and develop into people whom God can use for great things. I believe that a teacher’s work has eternal implications because, “The true object of education is to restore the image of God in the soul.” MCP 359
