University Math Faculty
Ms Luisa Morales grew up Seventh-Day Adventist and attended adventist schools up to her first year in college. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1992 and a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering in 1994. Ms Morales is very grateful to God for his blessings as she worked as a Structural Engineer in the Island of Puerto Rico. Seventeen years into the engineering career a call came her way to be a math teacher at an Adventist High School in the Island. She accepted the call and taught as well as practiced engineering independently during the years from 2011 to 2017. In the year 2017 she moved to Tampa, Florida after Hurricane Maria devastated the Island of Puerto Rico.
While in Florida she taught at Mt Calvary Junior Academy for the SDA Southeastern Conference. After learning more and more about the book Education and what God revealed to Ellen G. White about true education, the decision was made to move to Harbert Hills Academy in Tennessee and from there to Weimar University. At Weimar University Ms Morales taught math at the Academy for 3 1/2 years and taught Precalculus for 2 1/2 years to university students as well as dual enrollment high school students. She is currently being assigned to teach two college math classes as well as the physics lab. “O Give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good: because His mercy endureth forever.” Ps 118:1
